Tim is a world traveler whose passion is people. He grew up experiencing many different cultures around the world and discovered for himself that we all really are the same. We might have different stories and different belief systems but underneath all of that, we are looking for love and acceptance while working through our fears. Tim, who had always been a very spiritual person, became involved with the personal growth environment when he attended EST in San Francisco in 1976. He spent several years going through Werner Erhard’s programs and volunteering his services. This was a very powerful and scary time for him as he came up against his own demons and really experienced his connectedness to the rest of the universe.
In 1979 Tim’s in-laws came back from Zürich, Switzerland where they had studied at the Jung Institute to become Jungian analysts. Through them Tim met Arnie Mindel and for several years attended his summer workshops here in the states. These workshops were much more intimate than what he had experienced with EST. He became involved with the Denver Jung Institute in 1983, learning to tie together his spirituality and daily life as Carl Jung’s words and writings supported him in his search for inner peace. During this time Tim also came up against his own personal addictions. He became involved with AA and other Twelve Step programs and started to run some of the meetings, stepping into his power as a coach.
Then in 2001, Tim was introduced to Brian Klemmer's leadership programs. He rediscovered his battle with self-worth, started to volunteer and became a coach for Klemmer & Associates. It was in this time of rediscovery that Tim realized his passion for working with people and his calling to be a coach and mentor. Through Klemmer, Tim received some of the best training with mentors who were very successful in the coaching business. They pushed him to his boundaries and supported him to see the powerful person that he is and the difference he can make in people’s lives.
In July of 2005 Tim realized it was time for him to really live his passion. He decided with his friend and partner Marnie Barranco to start a coaching company, ConnectingPointe, to create an environment of loving support that would assist people in rediscovering living in their greatness.
